Vielleicht ist es das, ja! Aber genau diese Kombination möchte ich in meinem Blog führen. Hauptsächlich wird es Berichte zu verschiedenen Anime und Spielen geben. Und eben ein Mix drumherum. Der Grund warum ich über so viele verschiedene Themen schreiben möchte, ist weil ich mich für so viele Bereiche eben interessiere - und vielleicht kann mein Blog anderen Leuten zeigen, dass es nicht unmöglich ist, ein Modefan und ein Otaku (jap.: おたく, オタク, ヲタク ähnlich wie "Nerd" und "Geek" im englischen) zu sein. Falls ihr mit Mode oder mit Gaming nichts anfangen könnt - keine Sorge, meine Berichte und Rezensionen werden keine komplizierten Fachbegriffe beinhalten, von denen ihr vielleicht nichts versteht. Ich versuche auch alles zu erklären, versprochen! Und zur Not schreibe ich ja auch über Essen. Also ist alles in Ordnung, oder?
[English] Hello and cool that you have found my blog! Maybe you are slightly confused, since my Header-Subtitle says "Anime, Gaming, everything around the Internet, fashion and food." Hold on, isn't it abit too much? How is this going to work, a blog about Gaming AND fashion? Isn't that a weird combination?
Maybe it is, yes! But I would like to lead this blog with exactly that kind of combination. Most of the time I will focus on writing articles about various Anime and Games. And a mixture around it. The reason why I want to write about so many different topics is because my field of interests is exactly like that - and maybe I can show other people that it's not impossible to be a Fashionista and an Otaku (jap.: おたく, オタク, ヲタク similiar to "Nerd" and "Geek") at the same time. In case you cannot get started with Fashion or Gaming at all - do not worry, my articles and reviews will not contain any complicated technical terms which you will not understand. I will try to explain everything, promise! And in the worst case: I'm writing about food as well. So everything is alright, isn't it?
[German] Und nun kommen wir zu mir! Mein Name ist Cathy und eigentlich nennen mich viele so, der Haken ist aber dass es gar nicht in meinem Pass steht. Offiziell heiße ich Anh-Thu und meine Wurzeln liegen in Vietnam, wurde aber in Deutschland geboren. Am liebsten würde ich sagen ich bin 17, aber leider bin ich 19 (und im Kopf 12). Ich bin mit Anime aufgewachsen und mit 13 fing ich an Naruto zu gucken - und Spiele wurden mir schon quasi mit in meine Wiege gelegt. So fing alles mit Super Mario World auf dem Game Boy an.
Meinen eigenen Computer hatte ich relativ früh, auch wenn es ein sehr langsamer war, der noch nichtmal Internetbrowser und einen Messenger flüssig laufen ließ. Aber so entdeckte ich das große WWW, spielte Browserspiele und irgendwann mit meinem ersten, richtigen PC spielte ich diverse Free2Play (kostenlose) Rollenspiele. Seitdem folgten sehr viele Anime Titel und viele MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) Spiele und schlussendlich entdeckte ich mein Interesse für Mode. Aber auch erst, nachdem ich anfing bei einem großen, schwedischen Modeunternehmen zu arbeiten. Ich bin definitiv ein Spätzünder!
[English] Let us talk about me! My name is Cathy and actually many people call me like that, the problem is that it's not even in my passport. Officially, my name is Anh-Thu and my roots lie far in the east, in Vietnam but I was born in Germany. I would like to say that im 17 but unfortunately I'm 19 (and 12 in my mind). I grew up with Anime and started to watch Naruto when I was 13 - and games came into my life basically the moment I was born. It all started with Super Mario World on Game Boy.
I owned my first computer pretty early in my life, even though it was quite a crappy one, which couldn't even run a browser and a messenger at the same time without slowing down really hard. Even so, I discovered the great World Wide Web, played Browsergames and eventually I got my first "real" computer that was able to run a lot of different games. Ever since, my life was followed by many different anime shows and many MMO Games (Massive Multiplayer Online) and lastly, I discovered my interest for fashion. But only because I started to work at a swedish fashion company. I'm definitely a late bloomer!
